ABOUT KHMER KROM FOUNDATION

Welcome to The Khmer Krom Foundation.   We are a 501c3 tax exempt not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Khmer community, Khmer Krom diasporas, and Khmer Krom Indigenous Peoples primarily residing in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. This foundation works to promote the rights, culture, welfare and higher education of Khmer Krom students as future leaders, who often face social and economic and financial challenges.

Key activities of the Khmer Krom Foundation include: advocacy and awareness, education and empowerment, cultural identity and preservation, humanitarian assistance, community development, and other activities permitted by laws.

PROGRAMS FOR:

• Advocacy and Awareness: The foundation raises awareness about the issues faced by the Khmer Krom community, advocating for their rights on national and international platforms.
• Education and Empowerment: Providing educational resources and opportunities for Khmer Krom youth in higher education is a priority, ensuring they have access to quality education and marketing skills training.
• Cultural Preservation: The foundation supports initiatives to preserve and promote Khmer Krom culture, language, and traditions, fostering a sense of identity and pride within the community.
• Humanitarian Assistance: They offer humanitarian aid to address immediate needs, such as food, healthcare, and housing, especially for those facing poverty and marginalization.
• Community Development: The foundation works on projects aimed at improving the overall quality of life for Khmer Krom people, including infrastructure development and health care services.

Through these efforts, the Khmer Krom Foundation strives to empower the Khmer Krom people and ensure their voices are heard and respected globally.
